Weekend in Waterford

This week-end, from Thursday to Sunday, I went to Waterford. I am in week-end the Thursday, so it is very nice because I can do long week-end and visit some cities in Ireland.

Two friends from Paris join me in Waterford. On of this friend went in erasmus in Waterford the first semester so she knew a lot of people.

For go to Waterford, it was not very simple : I had to take a bus from Galway to Dublin (2h30 hours) and a bus from Dublin to Waterford (3 hours).

Waterford is a city situated in the south east of Ireland and is part of the province of Munster.

During this week-end, I meet a lot of erasmus people from France. It was very nice. The Friday night, we went to a erasmus party organized by the university : Waterford Institute of Technology.

The Saturday, we went to visit the Waterford Crystal. Waterford is especially known for that, a legacy of the city’s former glass-making industry.

The Saturday night, we went to a party organized by a student of IPAG BS, who is in erasmus in Waterford for this semester. It was very nice.

The Sunday, we took a direct bus for come back to Galway. It was easier than the Thursday.

My friends are going to stay in Galway until Tuesday.
