The city of London is very different of Paris. Indeed, London is bigger than Paris and so, we can find a lot of green spaces. London owns many well-known parks like Regent’s Park, Hyde Park, Richmond Park, St James’s Park, Victoria Park, Greenwich Park, Hampstead Heath, Clapham Common, Battersea Park, Lee Valley regional Park, …
I am going to present you two of these parks.
  • Hyde Park :
Hyde Park is a public park in the City Of Westminster district (center of London). This park has been constructed in 1637. It is the bigger park of London. Indeed, it is 2 kilometers long and it is about 1 kilometer wide. We can access to this park by tub with the Central line (Queensway, Lancaster Gate, Marble Arch) and with the Piccadilly Line (Hyde Park Corner). The river «Serpentine» separates this park from the Kensington Gardens. Hype Park is very well-known because many famous concerts took place there like The Rolling Stones in 1969, Queen in 1976, … Every year, Winter Wonderland, a famous Christmas Market takes place in this park. We can find in this market, the largest rink of London.
  • Regent’s Park :
Regent’s Park is situated in the North of London, between the City of Westminster District and the Camden District.
We can access to this park by tub with the Regent’s Park, the Baker Street or the Great Portland Street station.
The Regent’s Park is crossed in the North by the Regent’s Canal. In this part of the park, there is the Zoo of London. In the Sud, we can find two famous museums : Madame Tussauds and the Sherlock Holmes museum.
