Tibidabo is, 512 m, the peak above the Serra de Collserola, overlooking Barcelona. Tibidabo is popular in the tourist route of the city with its natural areas and hiking trail.
Several monuments have been built, including a popular amusement park, especially on weekends. There is also a Catholic Church and a relay Tower for telecommunications (not very important but it is impressive to see when we get closer).
The Church is called Sagrat Cor and was designed by Enric Sagnier. A statue of the sacred heart was installed over its highest Tower dominating the building. This church can be visited and allows to enjoy very colorful mosaic tables. The highest Tower allows a panorama 360 °. This place of worship is visible from some areas of Barcelona. There are also green spaces, prized by walkers on the weekend.
Installed in this mountain amusement park is the oldest of the city. Some attractions date back to the beginning of the twentieth century (although they have been renovated). The rides are various, the carousel for children to the roller coaster. They are spread over six levels, according to their position on the mountain.
Access isvery easy by car or public transport, as well as since 1901 by funicular.
