Lanzarote makes part of the four Canary islands in the Atlantic Ocean. They are located near the Marrocan coasts, approximately 140km, and belong to Spain. This archipelago is very touristic.

Gran Canaria is the bigger island of the Archipelago and shelters the capital of the Canary islands, Las Palmas, then Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

Lanzarote is the older, and has an historical patrimony classified of biosphere by UNESCO. It has known eruptions between 1730 and 1736, so that it founded an amazing landscape that million of tourists come to visit every years.

The capital of the island is Arrecife, but there is also two others big city as Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca. The island is full of touristics attractions, thanks to its history, in particular the famous house of Cesar Manrique, an artist native of the island. Timanfaya Park, Cueva de los verdes, la casa de Omar Sharif, Teguise Market and many others places.

The weather is called "spring weather" thanks to its temperature between 18 and 30 all over the year. Most of tourists come from England (90 percents), Germany and France. The coast is full of luxury hotels.

This is, most of the time, a family destination, full during the holidays periods. The rest of the time, we can see retired persons, of family with babies.

This place is very plaisant for leisure, relax and sun.

Besides the number of touristic sites to visit, we can point out the number of bars, restaurants, and memories shops ! Often, the restaurant offer ´tapas´, a spain ritual that tourist like more and more.
