This week end, the weather was rainy, so I decided to visit the Cesar Manrique Fondation, which makes part of the famous site to visit in Lanzarote.
Cesar Manrique is born in Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote in 1919. He is a spanish painter and architect who defended the nature, in particular his island, Lanzarote.
The Fondation is located in the house of Cesar Manrique, where he housed when he came back of New York. He stazed here for 20 years. It was created amid a lava flow cause of eruption between 1730 and 1736. This property representes 3 hectares, and approximatelz 3000m2.
This house is traditional and modern thanks to the art touch of Cesar Manrique,
This was an amazing experience !
